My name is Tracey Hanton and in 2004 my father Nathaniel Eugene Mackey took his eternal rest. It was a very hard thing for me to deal with. I was left empty, in order to heal I began my ancestry journey. I knew some things but I wanted to know more about my Mackey line. I didn’t know what to expect but it has been a journey!
My great grandfather Alex Sherman Mackey( Mary Mcilwain) died in 1915 his parents were Peter F. Mackey and Charlotte Truesdale.
Charlotte was born (1854- 1901) to Robert and Ann Truesdale in addition to Charlotte they had the following children:
• Liney
• Jack( Jackson)
• Robert Jr
• Jerry
• Lymus( Linus)
• Alex
• Marcus
• James
From these lines I have been able to trace marriages siblings etc. via DNA I have been able to help other members make connections that they did not have before" (2/13/19) |
